The company’s IT department was also certified for the standard. This certification is an acknowledgement of Fresenius Medical Care China’s robust corporate management and information security systems, and demonstrates the company’s commitment to keeping patients’ data secure. The company today held a press conference together with DNV GL, a leading independent third-party risk management and accreditation agency to announce the news.
As one of the most popular standards in the world, the ISO 27001 certification aims to help companies create science-based and effective information security management systems that preserve the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.
